Samsung really let me down
Pros: Clean, bright display Simple navigation Android (I'm not an iOS fan) I can work and play on it
Cons: I bought this to replace my lost Tab 2 7.0, which I was very, very happy with. I was a Samsung evangelist. The main reason for buying the Tab 3 was because it used a microUSB charger port, instead of the proprietary port on the Tab 2. And I was so happy with Tab 2 that I figured I couldn't go wrong with an upgrade, but I was really, really wrong. Within 4 hours of purchasing it, it crashed twice, displaying a black screen with an android graphic and the words KERNEL PANIC UPLOAD MODE. Within 9 hours it had crashed three times. Not to mention it was closing apps all on its own. So I go onto the Samsung website and have a chat with a tech who told me that the error message comes from installing a third party operating system. That was wrong because I have no idea how to change the operating system on a tablet. He then asked if I would like to have it serviced. Of course not. I just paid $200 for this device, and had three fatal errors within the first night of use. I did not pay new money for what amounts to a refurbished product. Service is out of the question. If it won't be replaced, I am returning this tablet and going for a Tab 2.
Overall Review: I should have bought a Tab 2
