Great fanless PC

Acer Aspire 11.6" Intel Celeron N2840 4GB Memory Windows 8.1 V3-112P-C7SG
Acer Aspire 11.6" Intel Celeron N2840 4GB Memory Windows 8.1 V3-112P-C7SG

Pros: I bought this for a lightweight mobile computer, with browsing and light gaming in mind. It worked for both. Additionally, I wanted something I knew i would have bios control over (thus a 2.5 hdd). The rated battery life is basically correct during light use (8 hours with the default hdd). With a low-power solid-state i could increase that use to almost 10 or 11 hours. The touchscreen worked great on both linux and windows 8.

Cons: The overall construction definitely feels on the flimsier side.

Overall Review: Considering that most other laptops are overpriced for most tasks, this is a great deal. It has HDMI, USB, 2.5hdd, touchscreen, and a fanless processor and amazing battery life is hard to beat at this price-point. It ran dota 2 and starbound at playable framerates (40ish) on both linux and windows. It even managed to boot skyrim (at an unplayable 7fps). Considering the processor TPD (7.5W), I was most surprised by its success at dota 2.

Good

Pros: High overclock ceiling. Mini-itx Fm2 support. worked first time, all drivers worked. OC works etc etc.

Cons: Gets hot, part of that is due to mini-itx cases being constrained. I can see how people would burn their boards. If you're careless and don't heat sink the VRMs, etc then yeah you can burn it up. Keep it in spec and keep it cool, and it'll work. I've had for about three months now, and no problems. (Fingers crossed i guess)

Overall Review: Overall seems like a great board, just gotta get some cooling going if you're going to OC high. Since its a delicate piece of equiptment, you gotta do your homework and realize that there are differences beyond the just the form factor. Also the new drivers I've seen people have problems with (Sata 3 ide etc). The drivers work if you know anything about how ridiculous windows can be. Also, the dual graphics is pretty decent, just make sure to get the fast ram, since the memory clock is the bottleneck for fps and etc.

great

Pros: Is exactly what it says it is

Cons: none really, it works exactly as etc.

Overall Review: I've had this card for about 2.5+ years now and its great.
