Can I mount this fan using 140mm mounting holes or is this for 120mm only?

It's 120mm only.  It's the same size as a 140mm fan, but it's specifically for 120mm mounting areas on your chassis.  Best go with a different fan for a 140mm vent.

Jury rigged, yes (Zip ties, etc if you can fit them through the rad).

Normally no it can't be used, the H115 has 140mm diameter mounting holes, the Prolima is 140mm diameter, however, it uses 120mm mounting points.  Its intended to fit on 120mm case mount positions, or used on 120mm air coolers for extra cooling surface area normally not covered by a regular 120mm.

The one I have, I slapped on my CM Hyper 212 Evo to fit on my mini ITX board, as the RAM and normal 25mm thick 120mm fans were interfering, clearance wise, I had intended to go push/pull, with a 2nd, as another 25mm thick fan on the rear would touch the rear mobo heatsink (EVGA Z87 Stinger), so was going to get a 2nd one of these for that set up.  I already had a pair of Akasa Viper R fans, but at 25mm thick, it wouldn't fit with out clearance issues.

Fortunately, and I say that reluctantly, my board had a defect, bad RAM slot, make matters worse, I accidentally bent a bunch of socket pins packaging back up, so more or less nullified any chance of returning it, and I had to get something to replace it, opted for a larger Micro ATX board (Asus Gryphon Z87), with no clearance issues, and then last fall, I got an H80i GT set up instead, so never used the Prolima in actual use.

But no, it won't technically work with the H115, due to the closer mounting holes, 120mm vs 140mm.
