What capacity drives is this device capable of utilizing?

With a little research, compatibility list is on their site. I'd attach the link directly to it, but it wont let me. Suffice it to say, it has plenty of high capacity drives (12, 14 , 16 TB) so if you're like me wondering about bigger drives, it seems to handle most of them fine. Also, looks like every RAID option in the book is supported (obviously with 2 drives, a few RAID options aren't appropriate)

What is meant by "disk-less system" Do you have to buy your own drives for this device?
