Is this model a 1TB, 2TB, or larger capacity?  I don't see it in the specifications?

I have two WD Enterprise Class 4TB drives in RAID 0 in this NAS, and it has been preforming very well. I use it for storage for a security system, and it is currently storing 30 days worth of rotating 1080p video for 5 cameras. The video stores directly to the NAS, with the surveillance software running on a Windows 2008 Server.

Is Twonky Media included or available through the app center for this NAS server?

"QNAP licenses the TwonkyMedia Server software and pre-installs it on some of their NAS products. The UPnP Media Server option in the administration interface leads to controls for the TwonkyMedia Server software."

A quick glance at the QNAP website shows Twonky as a downloadable package. You shouldn't have any issues.

Does it supprt 2x 4TB SATA HDD in JBOD configuration?

It should support any configuration for any disk size you want, with caveat that you use the disks they have in their compatibility list which is available on the qnap site, choose your product, and click compatibility list.

how you get the free upgrade to 2.13ghz? is it just shipped that way? or i should contact qnap or newegg for it?

Mine shipped that way. I just ordered one from a different company that starts with an A.  It came today and with the 2.13ghz cpu and was not advertised as such.  There's a sticker on the box that says "free upgrade to 2.13ghz cpu".

How does this unit do with drives not on the compatibility list?  I'm looking to put 2 4TB NAS drives in it, and like the price & reviews of the HGST H3IKNAS40003272SN, but it's not on the list.   The WD Red Pro is on the list, but pricey and no reviews yet.

Sorry for the delay. I never recommend getting drives that are not on the compatibility lists for any type of RAID or special purpose appliance. In my experience, the drives that aren't on the list will work most of the time right off the bat but will cause nothing but headaches and problems later down the road. If you're utilizing this NAS for anything but tinkering with it for personal use, I highly recommend getting drives that are on the list. This said, you may get lucky since I believe the TS-269 uses software RAID which is less picky than hardware RAID but don't hold me to this :P
