Can I use this to extend my subscription without having to change my e-mail address?

If you buy the boxed version and you are within a few months (I believe six) of your current subscription expiration date, then it can be used to extend your subscription. I do this every year when it goes on sale.

Is this a download or cd ? my new desktop does not have cd

You should be able to buy this software as either a CD or the download version directly from Newegg. The program will be downloaded from Quicken. You may want to consider buying a USB CD/DVD player from New Egg at $20 to $25 so that you can use the CD version. However, no matter what choice you make the download from Quicken is an extremely easy process, even if you buy the CD version you must set up a Quicken account for product updates which come along very often.

For years I used this product. It came on a CD disc and user had to install it on their personal PC. When this became an online subscription, I ceased using it. I do not, will never, go online with my personal banking information. This product stinks.

This particular listing appears to be for all subscribers--not just new subscribers--but it is a bit of a risk.  Good price tho.

I renewed my subscription thru a Newegg purchase last fall with no problems.

I asked this in the d/l version and noticed that clicking on d/l not only changed to d/l but also added "new subscribers only".  The boxed edition (same price) does not say that.  I wanted to know, can THIS be used to extend an existing product (without installing or even needing the box except possibly to get the code).  I really only want the code, but it appears that to do that I may need the boxed version... but will it work (since it's nonrefundable I need to know in advance).  So, CAN this be used to renew a subscription on an existing installation?
