Is the power supply able to be taken out to replace with a higher quality one?

Yes, the power supply that it comes with is completely removable. It also most likely will have to be removed as the ones that they ship with are very prone to dying.

Does the included power supply support a video card with a 6 pin power connector?

It doesn't have the pcie connectors on the power supply but using a molex to 6 pin adapter it should work. (I actually got a r9 280x with an 8 pin and a 6 pin to work fine with molex adapters). Just be careful that your not using too many other components in the pc or you can overload the psu.

Does this indeed include the Power supply unit?

Yes, it does.  It's a Raidmax RX-450K.
We ended up not being able to use it, because we needed more power plugs to run a video card.
It has a "24+8", and several hdd and fan power plugs.
