Does the fan give off the color displayed in the image?

Maybe. I can not get mine to to sync with any of my led apps, Asus Aura and others, but honestly i have not put much effort into trying to get it to sync either. Mine just lights up red right now. Its a pretty dark red.

Will it work with Gigabyte's Fusion 2.0 RGB?

This PSU uses the 3-pin (5v) for its RGB connection. Most Gigabyte's motherboard uses 4-pin RGB (12v), but the high-end motherboards have both connection type. I recommend you check your motherboard manual if it does support 3-pin RGB (5v).

are the RGB lights able to chance color or are they always rainbow?

they are 12v RGB. so if your mother board has a 12v header you can sync it. it is not a ARGB which can show multiple colors at once. but can change colors via software like aura sync or icue. think solid colors changing rather than ranbow leds flowing in motion.
