Does this fit on a Lga 1151 socket?

Can I used the fan connectors without the control hub? Do they fit a standard motherboard?

From what I can tell, they are made for the hub and can't fit on the motherboard. However there is a slot where you can plug an included wire in to have it controlled by the motherboard. As of the second, I have not tested it and just used the included remote.

Do you plug the RGB cable into 5 volt or 12 volt rgb header on motherboard?

The RGB control hub connects to a 5V RGB header on your motherboard, and also has a Molex connector to connect directly to your power supply, so that it has enough power to control up to 8 RGB devices regardless of the maximum power available through the motherboard RGB header. (The two fans and the CPU water block for the cooler are 3 devices, so you can run up to 5 more with this same control hub.) Also note that the addressable RGB header on your motherboard will have three pins, with a gap the width of a pin in between two of them, but the controller cable that plugs into your motherboard has four wires. It DOES work with the 5V addressable RGB header anyway. One of the wires in the controller cable will have a label that says "5V". Make sure you plug it into your motherboard so that that wire connects to the 5V pin on the motherboard RGB header, and it will work fine.

I can't get the cpu cooler itself to light up. Is there a trick to it? The instructions were not the best.

Hey there, I had this exact same issue when the cooler rgb wasn’t coming on. Check the connections from the cooler to the rgb adapter. If that is still not working I fixed it by moving the little switch on the adapter from m to b. My moving the switch it tells the adapter if your going to use the remote or the motherboard to control the rgb.

what is tdp of this cooler?

TDP is typically the heat output of a cpu. The cooler puts off almost no heat. the fans have incredibly low friction. running an I7 9700K And an RTX 2060 with less then optimal air flow I stay at 28-31 C on idle which is basically room temp and up to 70 C with a full load.
