When the electric blanket arrived, it couldn't heat up. What should I do?
The blanket is designed with a safety warm-up (3-8 mins) and adjusts to your room's temperature, so it heats up gradually.
1. Make sure it's lying flat.
2. Turn it to the highest setting.
3. Wait 8-10 mins – you should then feel the warmth.
Why is the overall performance of the electric blanket not as hot as expected?
The blanket has a safe max temperature and works best when you:
1. Pre-heat it for 3-8 mins on the HI setting.
2. Use it under your duvet to hold the warmth in.
Why does the light on the thermostat of the electric blanket keep flashing? The blanket was not heated either.
Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Unplug the controller from the wall outlet and from the blanket.
2. Wait for at least 60 seconds.
3. Reconnect firmly: first to the blanket, then to the wall outlet.
4. Check if the indicator light returns to normal.
My electric blanket is only half heated while the other half is cold.
