The best-selling MMO gaming mouse of all time, the Razer Naga, is evolving to take the MMO games of the next generation head-on. Engineered for improved comfort and control, the all-new Razer Naga comes with optimized button placement, three interchangeable side grips to suit your personal grip style, and is powered by Razer Synapse 2.0.

Of course, the new Razer Naga still harnesses the power of its most important feature: a 12-button thumb grid capable of binding every spell, skill, item, and macro you need to complete quests and save the lands faster and more winningly than the competition can react.

  • newegg 17 MMO-optimized buttons Effortlessly access more spells, abilities, and macros with a total of 17 mouse buttons, including Razer’s revolutionary 12-button thumb grid. The new Razer Naga features 2 mouse buttons behind the scroll wheel to deliver better ergonomic control as you game.
  • newegg Three interchangeable side panels Three interchangeable side panels provide an optimized fit for different hand sizes and grip styles, ensuring maximum ergonomic comfort to last you through lengthy raids and grinds.
  • newegg Razer Synapse 2.0 Razer Synapse 2.0 is cutting-edge intuitive proprietary software that functions as the Razer Naga’s brain – automatically syncing the gaming mouse to a cloud server to download driver and firmware updates, as well as save individual gamer settings without you needing to lift a finger. Specifically for the Razer Naga, Razer Synapse 2.0 capabilities will be expanded to store settings for a custom Razer in-game UI designed just for MMO players.

Lasted 5 Years

Pros: -great reliability
-comfortable
-software is easy to use and configure

Cons: -If you're a lazy gamer that doesnt wash their hands every time they eat or whatever you do in the (real world) gunk will build up between the buttons and slightly under the Left Mouse Button. Easy to clean though, and happens with every mouse so...
-One month ago the thin plastic strip that's on the sides of the scroll wheel finally slipped off over 5 years and got caught under the mouse click button. Had to open mouse up and superglue it back
-Month after above, mouse click became inconsistent for web browsing, requiring a more firm press of the wheel then the 4.7 years before it.
-At exactly the 5 year date of purchase, the middle mouse button finally died. I could open it up probably and easily fix it, but I wanted a new Naga for the last year anyways ;)

Other Thoughts: Honestly after 5 years and just the middle mouse click going, I'm very happy with this mouse. I would have expected the 1-12 buttons to go before the scroll click as i use it A LOT for MMO spell spamming, weapon swapping in FPS, sometimes # entering in games/websites. But to be fair, I also used the Middle Click A LOT as well. Opening/Closing new tabs on webpages, and used as an Alternate Melee in many games as well as Large ability Cooldowns in others.

Always a Good Choice.

Pros: -Allows for a vast amount of keybinding/macroing for peak gaming experience.
- Cool light pattern will give you some zazz.
- Able to go Wireless/Wired based upon preference.

Cons: - Takes a little getting used to if you have been using a standard mouse.

Older (?) blue model

Pros: Works

Cons: gets gunky in 12 button crevices, right finger rest, right lower sides where hand contacts, scroll wheel crevices; awkward top, foreward button placement

Other Thoughts: I bought mine at a (then) local large computer/electronics retail store (sounds like something you do when cooking cripsy golden french...heh) probably 2 years ago.

Mine is the blue version with the foreward/back buttons placed on the top left. I probably have only used then a few times. They are so far out of reach.

The mouse builds up hand gunk fast on the side 12 buttons' crevices and where my ring finger rests on the right side. I really has to be wiped daily sometimes. I remember reading someone else mentioning this as well. I guess all your hand oils and what ever just sticks to this mouse. I use mine probably 12 hours a day sometimes, both working and gaming at home.

I never really tried extensively to get used to the 12 thumb buttons. Misclicks can be an issue if not used to it and resting properly. I had / have a small thumb wart that comes and goes (not there now) right on the inside part where it would rest on the buttons when I had it the first year which made using them more of an issue.

My Logitech keyboard gets gunky over time as well. I don't remember having to clean so much with past hardware so perhaps they were made of different materials.

I am currently looking to replace it with a more standard 5ish button mouse. Since I like Razer's cords, maybe I will look at the DeathAdder. A backup is always nice.

Fantastic Mouse with Universal Usage

Pros: -Great for gaming as well as editing
-Razer software is easy to use and very fluid
-Feels great with 3 different sides that are easy to swap out
-Nice braided cord that doesn't bunch up or drag
-Great weight
-Scroll wheel has nice click yet smooth feel

Cons: -Software gets updates A LOT, which means restarting your PC to use the mouse as intended again
-Sometimes the lights will stay on post-shut down, but that's very rare

Other Thoughts: I highly recommend this mouse even if you're not a gamer! I bought it originally for MMO use (as described) but found that i got more use out of it for video editing and even school work. Buttons 1-9 are very comfortable to reach with 10-12 requiring a slight shift in the hand backwards. The top two buttons are a little awkward but i just set them to shortcuts i dont use very often. Besides that the mouse feels great, has a great lifetime (bought this ~3 years ago iirc), and looks pretty sick as well.

The software is fantastic as well, minus the frequent updates. You can create different profiles and have them change when you open a program set to that profile - absolutely love it. i haven't played around with many of the advanced mouse settings because it felt great to begin with, but they're there!

5/5 would buy again.

Great for MMOs! And also RTS!

Pros: The button number definitely gives plenty of options for games aforementioned. Since it functions as the Num pad, I had no compatibility issues. It also looks cool!

Cons: The problems I faced, as with a previous naga mouse is that they tend to start having double click issues after about a year of use. This was the second mouse I had bought from Razer, and it had started failing after a year like the previous one. This prompted me to try one from a different manufacturer. For it's price, I would expect it to last longer than it does.

Razer, razer, razer...

Pros: Great key layout, perfect for MMO's

Cons: Just really disappointed, I went all out as i'm a brand loyal person and have constantly purchased razer products. I've had to replace every model of razer naga I've purchased. I was an avid MMO player (AION, FFXI, FFXIV) and this brand never lasts. Whether it's poor driver quality, or the mouse laser/optics randomly jumping all over for no reason.

It is a great design but Razer's cheap plastic, poor "sticker" rubber grips which fall off and keys that eventually wear out, on top of driver issues and laser/optic issues, it's not worth the trouble.

Other Thoughts: I'll be trying out the new Corsair MMO mouse. Initial feel, the quality feels far superior and Corsair is just a higher quality brand.

5/ 5

Pros: Comfortable, good price point, interchangeable sides, high DPI, great texture-y feel, lightweight, the green looks great!

With the largest adapter, this feels great in my hands and is a solid fit. The sides can be popped right off and switched in a breeze, and it feels sturdy enough that they wont fall off randomly or during heated use (unless you throw it around like a maniac). They snap in with magnets nice and snug, nicely designed, hopefully the magnets wont weaken or anything over time. The texture on the mouse feels amazing, definitely won't slip out of my hands and it isn't like sandpaper on my sensitive little baby fingers either.

This is my third razer product, and i've been enjoying them all so far with no problems... I don't know if that makes me a fanboy but i'm definitely part of the cult xD

Cons: the Back/Forward buttons are right under the scroll wheel, which makes em awkward to hit. Other than that, only thing i can complain about is that it's wired?

I wish the color lighting on these products wasn't static. My keyboard glows blue, and my mouse glows green, where's my color changing LEDs?

"1000Hz Ultrapolling / 1ms response time"

This is adjustable (125Hz, 500, 1000) in the Synapse software, and for good reason. On lower end PCs, from my understanding, a high Polling Rate causes extra stress on your CPU. Not a complaint, but worth knowing.

Other Thoughts: I really enjoy using this mouse, makes a world of difference stepping up from my 800 DPI old school Logitech MX Revolution. I mainly play Starcraft 2, so this mouse has everything i could want. Looking to step up your game and get a little more serious from an older mouse? This is a great choice.

So I actually still have/use this mouse on a daily basis. It's been through a lot with me the last few years, and it's still holding up. There's very little wear on it, and I've never once had an issue. What an awesome product, I would purchase again.
