Is there wireless capability?

Yes, the printer has wireless capability, but I never put it on a network, so I cannot vouch how well it functions over the wifi connection.

Can this be color calibrated to Pantone to CMYK?

I would not rely on this printer for proofing offset jobs, if that is what you are asking. It has a CMYK emulation,  but, so far as I know - no separate profile for it.

Make no mistake - this printer has it strong points and is generally faithful to the RGB S colorspace, its hard to beat for quick fliers and some correspondence for the money. I have produced some truly stunning output with it.

However, it seems to use a lower temp toner of a softer character than the hard styrenes of most older lasers, and is also partly why it's so affordable. This isn't a problem for most applications, but it does seem to deprive the printer of truly exacting deposition control. Unless you are a graphics pro or very attuned to what's possible - you might never know.

As one who has run 100s of jobs out to offset houses I'm just saying that it will not repro some features as well as some Lexmarks I have used in the past. They were more expensive (about $450), had dedicated ICC profiles and did work that was very nearly indistinguishable from the resulting offset runs.

Hopefully this gives you a perspective you were hoping for.

Is this a scanner also?

No.  This is only the greatest personal color laser printer on the market!

Question 4

Does this item come with any toner cartridges?  If so, how many pages will they print?

They are starter cartridges and are rated for 1000 pages - as with other things, 'your mileage may vary'. Replacement cartridges are rated for 2300 pages. Look into refilling them - it will save you a fortune!
