Does this product have 2 paper trays, one to hold letter size, one to hold legal size?

One paper tray and the Multifunction "tray" which is actually just a pop out on the front of the machine. You can't load it up like the real tray but it will hold about 10mm of paper. If you use that long term I would advise positioning the unit sideways, otherwise someone WILL bump it and damage it sticking out the front.
