Does the download code go through steam or some other service?

You will need to go to Social Club Rockstar games dot com to download the installer it will then ask for your registration code once you do this then it will download and install the game to the directory you choose (default location) C:'Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V and it will place an icon on your desktop that you use to start the game.

Is the download code emailed or shipped? It's asking for my shipping address.

The code is emailed. The email will direct you to a website to download the game, enter the code, and it downloads. Install on your PC and you are good to go. Nothing is shipped to your physical address.

Question 3

Is this for PS4?

I got it for PC so I believe that it will not work for PS4. At the same time, you are not buying a physical copy, but the code only seems to work once you open the rockstar game launcher(which is free on PC). Don't take it from me, but if you don't get another response that clears everything up, I wouldn't buy it.
