Question 1

Is the RoomieTEC Dylon or Elite Pro better for cleaning under furniture?

Accepted Answer

Choose the Elite Pro for under-furniture cleaning because it has a folding handle and a flat floor brush designed for low-angle access. Choose the Dylon for more general-purpose use if you prefer its self-standing design, adjustable extension tubes, stainless-steel filter, and longer maximum-power runtime: up to 13 minutes versus up to 8 minutes for the Elite Pro. The Elite Pro provides longer ECO runtime, up to 35 minutes versus 25 minutes for the Dylon. ([roomietec.com](https://www.roomietec.com/products/roomie-tec-dylon-cordless-stick-vacuum-cleaner))

Question 2

How does the RoomieTEC Dylon compare with the Dyson V15 Detect?

Accepted Answer

Choose the Dylon for lower-complexity daily cleaning, a larger 1.0L dustbin, self-standing storage, and a lightweight design. Choose the Dyson V15 Detect when cleaning performance on carpets and embedded pet hair is the priority: independent testing reports very strong pickup across bare floors and carpets, exceptional pet-hair pickup, automatic surface-based suction adjustment, and advanced particle sensing. The V15 is the more performance-focused option, while the Dylon is better suited to routine cleanups where convenience and capacity matter more than advanced sensing and deep-cleaning features. Question 3

Is the RoomieTEC Dylon good for quick cleanups, or should I choose a stronger vacuum?

Accepted Answer

Choose the Dylon for quick cordless cleaning on hard floors, rugs, stairs, and small-to-medium daily messes. Its detachable handheld format, motorized floor brush, self-standing design, and up to 25 minutes of ECO runtime support frequent grab-and-go use. Choose a higher-performance model such as the RoomieTEC Ricky or Dyson V15 Detect when you need longer sessions, deeper carpet cleaning, or more specialized pet-hair tools. Cordless stick vacuums are generally most convenient for regular upkeep rather than extended high-power cleaning of a large carpeted home. Question 4

Should I buy the RoomieTEC Dylon or the RoomieTEC Ricky?

Accepted Answer

Choose the Dylon for lighter, simpler everyday cleaning and a 1.0L dustbin. Choose the Ricky when longer runtime and stronger carpet- and pet-hair capability matter more: Ricky offers up to 43 minutes in ECO mode, a BLDC motor, cyclone technology, a wider multi-surface roller, dual HEPA filtration, and compatibility with a motorized pet brush. The Dylon is lighter at about 4.96 lb, while the Ricky weighs about 5.29 lb. ([roomietec.com](https://www.roomietec.com/products/roomie-tec-dylon-cordless-stick-vacuum-cleaner))

Question 5

Is the RoomieTEC a good option for quick daily cleaning and small spaces?

Accepted Answer

It is well suited to quick daily cleaning because it is cordless, lightweight, converts to a handheld vacuum, and has a 1.0-liter dust capacity. The main trade-off is its up-to-25-minute ECO runtime with the motorized floor head, which may require recharging during longer cleaning sessions.

Question 6

How long does the RoomieTEC cordless vacuum run on one charge?

Accepted Answer

It runs for up to 25 minutes when using the motorized floor head in ECO mode. Actual runtime can vary by power setting, attachment, floor type, and battery condition, so it is best suited to quick cleanups or smaller cleaning sessions rather than uninterrupted whole-home cleaning.

Question 7

Is the dustbin easy to empty, and how much debris does it hold?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The vacuum has a 1.0-liter, or 0.26-gallon, dust capacity and is designed for no-touch dirt emptying. This reduces the need to handle debris directly, while the larger bin can help reduce emptying frequency during routine cleaning.

Question 8

Does it have HEPA filtration, and is it a good choice for homes with pets?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The vacuum uses a stainless steel and HEPA filtration system and is specifically designed for homes with pets. This makes it appropriate for collecting everyday dust, debris, and pet hair, but the product information does not specify a certified allergen-capture percentage or a fully sealed filtration system.

Question 9

Is this vacuum suitable for hard floors, carpets, rugs, and pet hair?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It is designed for floors, carpets, tiles, rugs, fabrics, and pet hair. Its 120W suction motor and motorized floor head support routine cleaning across multiple surfaces, although results can vary with carpet thickness, debris type, and the amount of embedded pet hair.
