Pros: Works great, wasn't too expensive. My friend gave me his 960 GTX to upgrade from my 760 GTX, but the video outputs were different, and in order to use two DVI monitors and an HDMI big screen TV, I needed one of them to have an adapter. The 960 GTX has 1 DVI, 1 HDMI, and 4 DisplayPort outputs. After buying a 'passive' DisplayPort to HDMI cable, and that not working at all, I did some research and found I needed an 'active' adapter, which is what this one is. If the markings near the ports just say DP, or DP 1.2, you need an active adapter. If it says DP++ or something like that, you can use passive cable. That's the best I can remember. Please look into it yourselves. Since my Asus Strix 960 GTX video card has 4 display ports outputs, I was worried it wasn't working, but then I tried the far left output instead of the far right output and it worked first try. Note: with a short adapter like this, connect a DVI monitor cable to this and to the monitor so you have some length. I used the one that came with my monitor. My monitors: Samsung XL2370 and LG 22EA63 (both 1080p)
Cons: no cons
Overall Review: Fair price to not have to buy a new monitor or video card.
