Does this case support HDDs at all, or just SSDs?

We have both kind in our system.  One for the operating system and the other for the storage.  SSD mounts are by the motherboard and the HDD is on the back side behind a panel.  System went together really easy in this case and it looks really cool.

I am experiencing a problem with dust build up in front of the fans but behind the honeycomb metal mesh. Is their a way to remove the mesh or panel to clean the problem and maintain the computer. Online manual dose not show any information about this?

Hi Michael,
It's interesting that you posted this question because I was experiencing the exact same problem and I fixed it about a week ago. I had to unscrew the fans from the front panel and disconnect the top IO from the motherboard. I then very carefully ran the metal mesh under some water, being careful not to get any on the top IO. I let it dry completely, then I reattached the fans, and connected all the wires up and its all better now. I will say that it was a pain, and I feel that this should be more intuitive, but it is what I had to do.

If you put your hand on the bottom there is a rectangular hole you pull away from the case it pops right off dont pull too hard because of the wires on the top

Can you hook the fans to the ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-E Gaming ATX Motherboard, WiFI 6 to be controlled by Asus Aura?

The 4 case fans are controlled by a Rosewill fan controller, that is self-contained, and does not interface with the motherboard.  The fans are all 2-pin fans with an LED interface that is independent from the motherboard, and thus does not provide speed control, monitoring, or Aura control.
I have one of these cases (and your MB) as part of ABS Gladiator pre-built gaming PC, and was disappointed that the fans run at a fixed 1500 RPM, and were not controllable (thus somewhat noisy).
To resolve that issue, I investigated the Rosewill controller, and found that the fans take their 12V straight from the Molex connector.  I was able to move that 12V feed to the power pin on one of the motherboard fan headers (M.2 Fan), and configure the fan in BIOS for DC control.  I also installed the optional thermal sensor to the MB header, and use the temperature reading from it to control the M.2 fan.  I set it up to keep the fan output DC to 7-12V, and everything works great.  Full fan control of all four fans, and a much quieter rig.
The fans are all 2-pin 0.2A 1500 RPM fans, but I measured only 500ma max current from all four (even at startup), which is well below the 1A maximum output current of the MB fan header.

The LED button on top of the case is not changing the colors of the fan lights (have remained red since purchase).  Is there something I need to do besides press the LED button?

If connected correctly, the LED button should be all you need to press to cycle through the fan LED colors. There is a box inside the case which controls the LEDs and the fans and LED switch should plug into that box. You might want to check to ensure the LED switch is plugged in properly. Depending on your motherboard, you could potentially bypass that box and plug the fans and the LED switch directly into your motherboard.
