does this work well with the ECS VX900-I (v1.0A) VIA L2007 (1.6G, 800MHz) VIA VX900 Mini ITX Motherboard/CPU Combo?

I'm planning a build and would hate it if the power supply fried the bundle.

I put a Biostar A68I-350 Deluxe R2.0 (the extra $15 is worth the dual core in my opinion) into this case with one stick of Crucial Ballistix Sport 4GB DDR3 1600 Low Profile. It has been running 24/7 for five months with no issues at all.

Of course, it is a must when getting a board with an imbedded CPU to pull all the heatsinks off, clean the stock paste away, and put on better paste. I use Arctic Silver 5 personally. No heat problems at all, I didn't need to put in any case fans.

Power supply gives plenty of juice for what I have in it, so it will handle the single core VX900-I with no problems.

Question 2

Will a normal CPU heatsink fit in this case?

I installed a Intel Celeron G530, 2.4GHz, and it fit. It was tight, line to line fit with the power supply that was included, but it worked. The rear wall of the case doesn't have any ribs, so the power supply tended to lean down (cantilevered) on top of the fan. So for my installation, I put a couple flat washers under the bottom row of fasteners of the power supply, just to keep it from laying directly on the CPU fan.

Is there a fan inside the PSU or is it passive-cooled?

Passive, but as long as you aren't doing any processor or gpu heavy applications, should stay plenty cool. You could potentially squeez in a small fan, but it would take some fenageling. I opted to not put in a cd drive which helped with reducing heat and more room for air. Good case

I cant see any real back IO. Does this mean that there is no DVI or VGA on board?

this is a case and power supply only. although there are cables that come with it, it does not come with a mini or micro motherboard which will have all the amenities expected.I just hope they have replacement power supplies. If not then you'll have to order another one of these cases with the power supply

PSU has a 4 pin for the motherboard right?

Yes. It has a typical power connection like just about any modern PSU.

CAN it fit an RTX 2060 or 2080?

This case only fits a single slot GPU. Most GPUs, even 1060/2060 single slot will have a cooling system that extends past the cases side panel. There are also other concerns when it comes to heat management in this case along such as not having an active cooling power supply which could cause issues with both GPU and PSU. I would highly recommend getting a little beefer case if you plan to use any kind of graphics card. This case is great for a small workstation with email, streaming, and other small tasks. My company owns 9 of them simply for workstations.

Will this case fit a full size graphics card?

I didn't try to fit one in, but I really doubt it.  Everything was pretty packed in when I built it for a friend.

Question 8

I am not getting a lite (led) on the power switch. The switch works fine. Does it suppose to light up?

The LED is not very visible so you might need to get below the level of the switch to see it.  If it's not lit, check your motherboard connections for polarity:  if you have +/- reversed on the motherboard header the LED won't work.

will it support a 100 watt CPU ?

No.  This would be dangerous.  It may work for a short time but not work the risk of causing a fire or destroying your computer.

There are free calculators online such as this one from Asus:

They can tell you roughly what you need.  I would go above the recommendation to be safe.  For the cost, its no big deal to go a little bigger.

Question 10

My psu on this case died on day one, what would be a good replacement psu will any atx psu fit in this case?

As stated previously, ATX psu's are too large. The psu form factor this computer uses is called SFX. Find any SFX psu in your price range and it should be plug and play.
