I'm interested in using the 'Supercharger' utility with my MSI z87-GD65.   There is a designated(colored red) USB prong hookup on the motherboard.

My question, does this come with the cord needed to plug into the USB hookup on actual motherboard(in addition to PCI)?

There are No cables/cords included with the card... I buy these for building machines that have more front-panel USBs than the motherboard might have... It has 2 - USB2.0 ports on the back and 1 - internal 9-pin header (Like on a mother board). Hope that helps...

does it work under Win98 SE?

I am not sure because I am using it with Windows 8.1 I would think it would work. try going to the Rosewill website and see what drivers are available. BETTER YET here is what I found for you on the website.
