Does it matter if the CPU is 32 or 64 bit for this device?

It should not make any difference. It is on the PCI bus so actual memory width is not dependent on the processor or OS. I am running 64 bit without a problem. I believe the drivers are fine with 32 bit as well.

Will this card work with a parallel hardlock key for Digital Dining?

I'm sure it will. If installed properly and with the provided driver disk, it will acknowledge any parallel device you attach to it. I have even got old dot-matrix printers to work using the generic windows drivers. Try it out. If it doesn't work, Newegg has a fantastic return policy.

Will the Rosewill RC-302E - PCIe 1-Port Parallel Card be listed in device manager in  Ports  (COM & LPT)?  I need to have a parallel express card that is seen as a LPT port for my software dongle  key to be recognized.

Yes it will.  Mine sets up as LPT3 by default.  You can reset to legacy ports 1,2 or 3.  The driver is Oxford Semiconductor V 1.0.0.6 dated 12/21/2009 and is a windows hardware compatible publisher.  I have an old HP 5MP printer hung off mine and it works perfectly.

No.  It came bare bones.

I put mine in a PC running Linux (Ubuntu 14.04) and that OS already had drivers loaded, so it functioned perfectly right out of the box.

Will this work on XP Pro 32 bit?

Yes it will work on XP 32 Bit, I have it installed on my Dell 32 bit XP operating system. You have o ave have an available PCIe port.

I had no problems what so ever with this card. It works great on XP with 32 bit or 64 bit. I actually purchase a few of them and have used them in XP and Windows 7 both 32 and 64 bit.

Need half height. Will it work in a Dell Optiplex 3220 SFF?

It should. You will have to take off the mounting bracket and put on the one for the SFF. It comes with the mounting bracket you need. I had to load the drivers from the disk on a Windows 7 Pro 64 install. Works great

Will this parallel card work in my Dell Insprron 660s so I can use my HP 4050t printer?

I looked up a picture of the interior of this case.  It seems like there is a PCIe connector available, and this card has a low profile adapter.  Plus the card works with Windows 8.  So yes, the card should work.  However, the bigger question is whether your printer is compatible with your new computer.  The HP website doesn't list any drivers for a 4050t printer.

Will this work with this motherboard Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3?

Unfortunately, I'm not very tech savvy.  I got it because I only had the PCIe ports available.  The Serial port works great with every computer I've put it in.

Will this work with a Dell Inspiron 3847 to connect to a Plasma Cam Machine?

I bought it specifically for that purpose. It works well on my custom built PC. I'm sure it will work on your Dell. You may have to change the Parallel port mode to match what your CAM needs.
