Yes, I installed it in a refurbished Dell computer with Windows 7.

It works very well with my 5.1 speaker system.

sf2 sound font capable?

It depends - if you have proprietary files of type sf2 then "no" as included driver does not support but MIDI standard should work.

I successfully installed the card and disabled the sound on the mobo. I have two questions: 1)How do I eliminate the echo on the digital audio? 2) How can I use my old analog speakers in combination with the digital output?

I have been told by Asus tech. the card does not support Wdws. 8.1 x64. Nothing works whatso ever in my installation and new drivers are yet to be written to afford uthe unfortunates like ourselve swho do not believe in returning defective products reflected in retrospect by their advertisers. Require reimbursement and hardship consideration.

This card *looks* like it has the pins for connecting front panel jacks in the center of the card, but doesn't say in the specs. Can someone please confirm / deny this for me?

This is a 7.1 Surround sound Card, the 2 "center" ones are just for the other speakers in a 7.1 set.
