does it work with usb 2.0?

Yes works with USB 2.0 and 1.1 data transfer is just a little slower. I've used it with a USB 2.0 to check older IDE drives works fine.

None of the ports shown match the IDE cable I saved with my old floppy drive. It has a female end with 34 pins. Is there an adapter included or available?

This is for harddrives, not floppy drives. Buy an external floppy drive to usb.
