PWM Function
The PWM function automatically adjusts fan speeds within a range of 600 ~ 2200 RPM according to the CPU temperature for efficient cooling and minimized fan noise.

Part of Rosewill's "Z" series designed specifically for Intel processors, the RCX-Z300 performs comparable to higher-priced units but at a fraction of the price.
The 92mm red fan spins at speeds up to 2200 RPM allowing it to move nearly 42 CFM of cooling air. At top speed, it generates a noise level of just over 24 dBA. Its integrated PWM functionality offers great flexibility by allowing the system BIOS to monitor the fan's speed and performance. During periods of low thermal need, the computer will lower the fan's speed – and its noise level.
The heatsink portion of the RCX-Z300 consists of aluminum extrusion fins surrounding a copper base and core. These convection fins have a branching, "crotched" profile which practically doubles the amount of surface area available to diffuse the surplus heat. The RCX-Z300 will support Intel Socket LGA 775 processors including the Core 2 Extreme, -Quad, -Duo and Pentium D, -4 and Celeron D CPUs.
