Rosewill RFA-120-K - 120mm Computer Case Cooling Fan with LP4 Adapter - Sleeve Bearing, Silent

Pros: It puts out a decent amount of air with little noise.

Cons: bearing isn't going to last as long as i'd like, but, you get what you pay for.

Overall Review: good for a temporary to one year usage.

Cons: Failed after only three weeks of usage, making a horrible noise when running.

Overall Review: It seems with Rosewill fans that normal term viability is actually the exception rather than the rule. It didn't even have time to get "dusty", so the environment is not the cause. These were also running at low speeds during their very, very short life. I'm done with Rosewill's fans. They have no shame in selling sub-par products for average everyday prices.

Pros: I needed a bigger fan to cool my entertainment system. The confined space my ps3 and (big, fanless, HOT) Sony A/V receiver were in were heating up pretty badly! So I got a couple of these fans, cut out a square in the back of the cheap wood/cardboard hybrid material for each compartment of my furniture. One fan per compartment ALL HEAT WAS GONE. No more PS3 fans sounding like a jet flying around my living room. And these compartments are rather big too! This thing moves a ton of air!

Cons: Not much of a con for me, but some people may be upset that this is somewhat loud. Doesn't bother me though.

Overall Review: For power, I made a cable, ran it into my computer case, and plugged it into the PSU.

Pros: Pushes globs of air, comes with power adapter and screws.

Cons: silver screws noisier than my Slipstream Kaze Jyuni that does 110cfm at 37db

Overall Review: Put two of these on my HAF 922 side panel.

Pros: Lots of air flow. Quiet Lots of air flow. Inexpensive but not cheap. Lots of air flow.

Cons: It would be nice to have indicators on the fan showing the direction of the air flow.

Overall Review: OK, I was a bit worried when I read so many people saying this fan is loud. I have really good hearing so I looked up a decible comparison and 30db is approximately the sound a rain drop makes hitting the sidewalk. So I took a chance. I installed three of these guys in my case - two intake, one exhaust. The two intake are connected directly to the power supply (full power) and one is connected to the motherboard (variable power). The fan on my graphics card at 40% power drowns out all three fans. The other day we had a rain shower and I had my windows open (hey, in Texas, you can do that in the winter) and the sound of the rain outside the window from across the room drown out all the computer noise. Put on your headphones - you're gaming anyway, right? - and the noise level is absolutely negligible. Don't be afraid of how 'loud' these fans are. I did notice the smell others talked about, but only for about the first 3-4 hours of operation. I couldn't be happier.

Pros: I ordered the fan from Newegg on 1/8/2013. It has been running almost constantly from the time I received it shortly after that. That's almost 5 years and still going strong. It was transferred over to a new Antec case in 2015 and is still going long after one of the 3 Antec fans that came with the case has quit working. The noise level is probably about the same as the Antec fans, it's hard to tell as they blend together. It's definitely louder than the dead fan. Believe me, loud is better than dead.

Overall Review: There are 4 criteria to consider when buying a case fan. (in alphabetical order) Air movement, noise level, price, & reliability. This fan excels in 3 of the 4. I would and have recommended this fan to others and would buy again.

Pros: Great air flow kinda loud? but then again its only 2 feet from my head lol

Cons: the smell! WOW! it took almost 2 weeks for the smell to get away lol ( it smells like the outside section of walmart? yea ... youll see what i mean ^_^ )

Overall Review: Besides the smell; the price vs performance is pretty good if you ask me!
