Is there any way this fan can be used for a laptop?

"In" no. But if independently powered and used to enhance the existing intake vents yes. Its made for a pc case. The holes are for mounting in  a pc case. But a fan is a fan and you could use it for whatever you want.

Question 2

Is the fan connection a 3-prong or 4-prong ?  4-prong fan speed is controllable by the motherboard.  3-prong fans blow. ;)

Well, it's 3 prongs alright, but the board clip only has one wire (power). There IS a 3-wire prong sticking out from a corner that perhaps would work, but it only sticks out less than 1-inch & impossible to use. I've never seen an "extension cord" for that kind of connector.

Does the LP4 connector (bigger black part) have a female end on it? (in the picture you can only see the male) it looks like there is i just want to make sure. My power supply only had one connector that had both. Thanks

The molex connector on the included adapter has both male and female (4 prong) connectors

Is it possible to disable the LED?  I have this model, and need to disable it at its current location.  Or would it be  a permanent wire snip?

pretty sure you will need to cut the wire to the LED's...

same size as every 120mm  fan i have. so if u have a 120mm fan in ur pc then look at that.
