I have one fan header on MB. With that in mind, can I run two fans off of this panel?

Hello Victor, Yes, you can. This controller does not use motherboard fan headers at all. The fan power comes from a single PSU power connector which plugs into this panel. There are two 3-pin fan connections on this panel which your fans plug into, so your motherboard fan header will remain unused. The included cables also have splitters that allow up to two fans to be connected on each cable, for speed control of up to four fans in all.

How long are the cables? (USB 2, USB3, and fan)

I think they are at least 18 inches long. They were certainly long enough to reach from the connections on my motherboard to the front of my case with no problem, and the unit is working well for me.

DO I need a card with this to create a usb 3.0 or is this enough?

jules r...unless you have a usb3 header on your motherboard, yes you will need an add on card

Installation Instructions

Remove the case side panel and front panel cover.
Insert the multi-function panel into the a 3.5" front bay slot
Fasten the multi-function panel down with screws
Connect the cables as indicated in the diagram below.
