Question 1

Most Surge Protectors have a Warranty on items plugged into it, that are damaged, if it fails to trip.  The specs on this are very good, but do they stand behind them?

The best way to confirm specs is actually by checking the manufacturer's website (that's where we get them). Click on the Specifications tab on the item page, and look in the Quick Info box on the bottom of the page. You'll find a link to the item on the manufacturer's own site with the most up-to-date details.

Question 2

Is this product UL listed? I did not see that in the specs listed.

It does have a UL tag on the backside, but ours are pinned to walls and the lighting is too poor to read a number.  But there is a UL tag on them.
