Is this a 3 or 4 pin?

It says this under the LP4 adapter "This fan natively plugs into the motherboard, or can be connected to the main power supply using the LP4 adapter cable". This means it is hard wired with a 3 pin but comes with an adapter to plug into a 4 pin, so more or less it is both a 3 and a 4 pin. Great fan.
