Pros: Works good, Decent signal most of the time.

Cons: Have issues periodically where we have to unplug it and plug it back into the USB port to get it to come on, after that it works until the next time we have to do it. (1 or two times a month)

Pros: I use this for work bench since wired is in full use and it was cheaper than investing in more equipmennt to add LAN cables to workbench wireless was the prefered way to go this works great it is in small room about 20' from router so no idea of range

Cons: wish I had a better work bench than diningroom table that I always have to take stuff off of so people can use it for other stuff ( I normally don''t remove my stuff)

Overall Review: good solution if y9ou need wireless on a budget

Pros: This adapter seems to be the replacement for the old 150 series. It works A LOT better. It gets even better range with less dropped packets. Unlike its predecessor, this version actually works with Vista.

Cons: The included software is awful. I strongly recommend loading only the drivers manually out of the driver folder on the CD. They're arranged very logically so you know which to load for which OS.

Overall Review: Keep in mind that anyone saying any wireless receiver drops all the time and has bad range probably has a terrible, outdated, low quality router.

Pros: Got this on a shellshocker deal, taking a chance on it since there were new reviews. Must be a new product. The good news is that it worked without a hitch, and vastly improved upon my older PCI-based 802.11g card. My signal strength improved from ~50% to between 94 and 100%. The connection is just rock solid. Transfers between my networked computers hold at around 2 MB/s, or 16Mbs. I'm limited by my 11g router, and I think that's about the limit of what 11g can do.

Overall Review: Very easy to install. Didn't use the included driver CD, as Windows 7 downloaded the latest Atheros drivers automatically (of course, I already had an internet connection, but if you don't, you'll need to use the drivers disc). Also, as an aside, the USB extension cord really comes in handy - you can position the antenna to be free of obstructions, and avoid the awkwardness of having the relatively long wifi card sticking out the back (or front) of the computer.

Pros: easy installation= i followed the quick installation guide that came with the adapter which required to run a mini cd(those small cute ones ^_^') and the process was really smooth on a Windows 7 64 bit OS in less than 10 minutes i was connecting to the internet. the connection is strong the computer is 30ft and 3 walls away from my router( a linksys) and it has never dropped and has always been 4-5bars the usb 2.0 form is easy to work with and it comes with cable to extend the antennae(didn't use it) the adapter is like 1" x 3" long which is good it isn't a monster that sticks out like crazy. i have mine installed and the back of my tower and it's on the floor block by furniture and still i get 5 bars strong connection! super simple set up and it works perfectly. soo happy with this adapter!

Overall Review: newegg shipping was soo fast during the holidays i ordered this less than two weeks to go till christmas and got it 4days to spare!

Pros: 10 months with great internet speeds Doesn't bottleneck my bandwidth Cheap Didn't have any installation issues

Cons: Kind of big. Tends to keep me from using the adjacent USB port. Not a big deal though. Still a worthy purchase.

Pros: Recognized under Linux as an Atheros device, which works wonderfully for the whole Wi-Fi tools that you all know and love. Never ever gets hots even when traffic is absurdly fast. Detachable antenna, invaluable when you need a directional one for various purposes.

Overall Review: If you're looking for something to toy around with, this is a good pick.

Pros: Works well with Windows and Linux OS. I tested/used this adapter to set up a couple of older laptops that did not have internal wireless.

Cons: None so far except that it dropped a connection a couple of times...may have been my provider. Some folks may think this unit is too big sticking out the back or side of a laptop. I did not have any issues with this.
