Not intimately familiar with your particular laptap but wouldn't anticipate a problem. I have two of these devices in my home (operating as access points, not as a router) and successfully connect (WiFi) through them using a MacBook Pro, Toshiba Chromebook 2, Nexus 5, Samsung Note 2 and numerous others. If you are concerned about the router functionality, I can't help. Would expect that to be more an issue of your Internet Service Provider, the operating system on your laptop and the particulars of the kinds of connections you hope to employ (e.g., VPN). On the few occasions that I've used these as a router I have had no trouble in essentially "vanilla" applications.

Is this compatible with TWC company?

Yes , just plug it into the cable modem they provide with an Ethernet cable and it should work just fine .

Is this router compatible with Time Warner Cable?

No..This is not cable modem..Its just wifi router to be connected to cable internet modem.

Does this router have bandwidth monitoring tools?

no, nor does it support DD-WRT or Tomato, so it has no capability to.

Can I use this as a comcast cable modem/router that connects directly to my coaxial cable line?

No. This is a standard modem/router. No coax connector.
