Are the clear portion of the lamps made of glass or plastic?  I've bought lamps with plastic lenses and they fog and lose transparency after a few months.  Thanks.

plastic but they have held up well. They are cheap but not the cheapest.

The part that goes in the ground is approx 6 inches and approx 1.5 of this 6 inches inserts into the pole leaving 4.5 inches to go in the ground.

The pole length from ground to base of light is approx 5.5 inches and is approx .75 inch in diameter.

The lamp assembly is approx 4.25 inches tall with greatest diameter (black ring) being approx 4.25 inches.

Once installed - from ground to top of light is approx 9.5 inches as part of the length of the lamp section insets into the pole section.

where do you get battery replacement ?

The garden lights use a standard rechargeable triple A sized battery. They are readily available at Radio Shack or I bought mine on line at Ebay. You could likely find replacement rechargeable AAA sized batteries at your local hardware store.

Question 4

What is the brightness of these lights in lums?.  Most cheap lights are 1 Lum.  I bought a number recently that were 3 Lums, but they still aren't very bright.

I don't know how many lumens. But they are plenty bright enough. I have bought at least 4 sets so far. I have a very large yard.
