As the description states, this can hold up to four (4) 3.5" desktop hard drives in the space of three (3) 5.25" external device slots, which are ordinarily filled by DVD/Blu-Ray or similar devices.

Yes. The fan is mounted with 4 regular screws and it is simple to replace.

I did that for both cages I have and it works great.

I want to add more drives to my rosewill stryker case. can I slide this over the existing cage or will I need to screw it in?

I don't believe this is at all compatible with your case. I use this with the server case it was designed specifically for. Out of curiosity I tried this on other cases and it never even comes close to fitting. I suggest "SilverStone CFP53B Hard Drive Cage" it looks like it might fit above your current drives. Use a few zip ties to secure to the case itself. Good Luck!

Will this fit in an RSV-L4000C model case?

This HDD cage is designed as accessory for RSV R4000 and RSV L4000. As to your question, it appears to be manufactured for L4000 but I would contact Rose will. I purchased this cage for my test bench to house separate HDD, for testing. It sits on my test bench and not inside a chassis. I can say the trays are a little tricky to get a HDD into but once all installed this cage keeps 4 drives secure and cool (2x7200 RPM and 2x 10k RPM).

Will this screw into any standard 120/140mm fan mount position in my case?

Are these hard drive cages stackable?

I would like to screw 2 of them together.

I am currently using a Fractal Design Define R4 and am considering getting the Define XL R2.

Other thoughts: I need moar drive bays! :)

I an sure you can make them stackable I put 3 of these in a antec 900 with very little modification to either part
