Is the main display a touchscreen?

The main display is not a touchscreen. I was also disappointed to learn after the fact, the USB-C does not pass video on this computer.  I use a secondary monitor and have to use the HDMI instead of the USB-C 3.1.

It doesn't unfortunately. It also doesn't support video through USB c.

How is the battery life?

Have had mine for less than a week.  I've hardly installed anything on it yet, so when I'm playing movies there isn't any other excess load on it.  The graphic quality is great, but am disssapointed in how little time I can carry it around unplugged while watching streaming content before it starts cycling down for low battery level.  Plugged back in it will charge backup in about an hour, then play about 3.5hours of streaming content unplugged before needing to be plugged back in.  So currently i've only tested mine under constant high network latency with constant HD streamed content playback which does stress the video card and cpu more then "average work conditions'.  I would imagine it would be just fine for an 8 hour day at school or work of primarily spreadsheets and word documents.

the topmost description says this laptop has a Micro SD card reader, but the specifications say its a standard SD card reader. Which is it?

It has the standard SD card reader only  , there is no micro SD slot. An adapter will be working just fine. Hope this helps .

Does this actually have DDR3? I didn't even know a 10th gen Core CPU could use DDR3 because it's so old.

It does have DDR3 2133MHz dual channel (8Gb in each slot). Would have been nice to have DDR4 but I don't think this will hold performance back at all in most uses.
