- SURFACES & WARNINGS: This 3M double sided tape (1600T) is a reliable foam tape 0.04 in / 1.0 mm thick PE foam tape. It bonds to aluminum, steel, glass, marble, tile, plastic, and hardwoods. Works on both high and low surface energy materials. Not recommended for painted drywall, heavily textured surfaces, or wallpaper removal may lift paint or damage soft surfaces. For smooth, non-porous surfaces only.
- STRENGTH & DATA: This double sided foam tape delivers 12 lb/in 90° peel adhesion, 49 lb/in² tensile strength, and 78 lb/in² shear strength (on aluminum). Waterproof, temperature-resistant, and shockproof ideal for indoor and outdoor use. Provides a strong, long-lasting hold for lightweight to medium duty mounting.
