Is this hub compatible with windows 10?

It should be. I had it connected when I was upgrading a machine to win10 a couple of years ago, and I seem to recall it was working as it was supposed to in win10.

Could this device be used to share a single usb keyboard with 2 computers?

I doubt it.  The blue ring around each button is illuminated and must draw power from the short cable.  Your keyboard likely has the same connection and at the very least you'd need some other adapters just to connect it up.

What you want is a KVM for sharing the keyboard (and video and mouse if you want).  On the inexpensive ones I've seen you could just use the keyboard, and most draw power through a USB connection.

Yeah, a KVM will cost several times as much, but it will do what you want.

Question 3

Supports up to one what? the description just says Supports up to 1 ... what doest that refer to?

Under specifications/features it clearly states:
it supports up to 127 services by daisy-chaining multiple hubs (whatever that means) It will service anything that can be connected via USB connection.

Each port has an on/off button so you can control which port(ports) are useable. Keep things plugged in when using & off when not.

My daughter just sent this to me but the chord is not long enough. Is there an attachment to this to make a longer chord?

I believe  the new egg menu under cables has usb extention cords but the lengths might vary. They might be too long for what you are looking for.  Check it out and see what they have to offer. You need a usb cable with 2 male plugs. :)

I have 2 dell computers that are not networked and 2 printers individually connected to the PC's. I would like to reduce to one Printer shared between the 2 computers. Would this work? Or would I need a Hub with 2 inputs and one output to the printers USB B?

Im not sure if you can reply, however if the printer you want to use has an ethernet jack on it, then you can connect the two computers to an ethernet switch and conect the printer, then set the printer up on either computer as long as the systems requirements meet the softwares requirements. When you start the printer setup, you want to select "Setup as a network printer" or "Setup as Shared Printer on Network". If that does not work, you can then setup the printer on one machine, then at the end of setup, windows should ask if you want to share this computer over the Home Group, or the network. If you do not want to mess with switches l, and cables, then you can try modifing a USB hub and add another USB connector onto it and try plugging one end into one computer and the other end into the other end. Then connect the printer. I have thought of what could be possible, your mileage may vary.

I bought this for a friend and I do not have it in front of me but I remember I plugged it in ... in the rear of the desk top with no problems. Guessing 10".

Can I use this on my Samsung TV? Need extra ports for Roku and DVD player.

If you are going to transfer just energy/electricity [5v] it should work, but if you are planning to transfer data through this usb I'm not sure. I use it for my laptop and it works perfectly.

Question 9

For the AC power, what size adapter do I need? I just received this product and so far, good. I am charging my tablet, and portable battery. How will/or when will I need to use the power supply on this Hub? i.e. Power source cord? What devices? Yes I am pretty naive to gadgets, so I am feeling dumb already so save any smart axx remarks folks, but pretty good with computers. Thanks

This hub does not use an external power supply. It obtains it's 5 volt supply through the USB 2 port it is connected to.

Will this work with a Windows RT OS?

I havent personally tested this but from my experience setting up surface tablets both rt and pro windows should support this device they are pretry much the same with the only major draw back being on rt that you can't install programs from outside the windows store.
