Pros: This thing is just amazing in every way. There is no limit to the things you can plug into it. HD TV tuner built in, HDMI, DVI, VGA, Composite, Component, S-video. This is a great dorm room monitor, it saves space because it doubles as a TV. The response time is great for gaming both console and computer, and shows absolutely no signs of ghosting. The internal speakers sound surprisingly good. The colors are amazing and the resolution is great. Lastly it’s a Samsung so you know that you getting a great product.

Overall Review: Just get it. It's worth the price, it doubles as a HD TV and everything looks great on it. This is and probably will be the best monitor I ever own. The remote for those of you who choose to pick on things is very easy to use. The only thin this monitor could use is a USB hub but I don't care because my computer has more than I need.

Pros: Beautiful display that can be used as a high resolution monitor and/or digital/analog TV. Within minutes of setting it up, I was using the built-in tuner to scan available QAM channels. The tuner automatically removed scrambled channels (a real time saver). The remote and TV are both styled better than the Samsung monitor/TVs from a couple years ago. They've really improved the PIP interface as well. You can easily turn on PIP from the remote or hidden controls on the front of the panel. Did I mention the hidden controls? I didn't even know they were there until I'd owned the TV for several days. They are touch sensitive parts of the bezel, below the Samsung logo. Very cool. Another cool feature is the opacity of the PIP window. You can make it opaque or semi-transparent so that if you have it on while using the PC, you can still see your applications behind the PIP. It is very bright too. The Energy Star rating shows this uses as little power as possible.

Cons: -Included Canadian paperwork in box (no US warranty card). I registered online. -Glossy screen might not be best for brightly lit rooms.

Overall Review: If you're looking for a device that will handle HDTV and your high resolution computer needs, this is the product.

Pros: Excellent monitor, clarity is great. Good brightness and contrast. SDTV is good in PIP. 22" is a good size for the desk but also performs well in games. Smooth motion from 5ms response. Comes with a nice cleaning cloth! Aspect ratio will switch automatically sometimes when resolution is set to 4:3 like 1280x1024 for example. Love the picture-in-picture.

Cons: 22" is very small when coming from a 27" HDTV! Not the monitor's fault. SDTV looks AWFUL in fullscreen, even worse than my old HDTV, though I could probably get it looking a little better after some tuning. Colors are off out of the box, though tuning fixed that as well. Pricy, but not bad when you consider that to get an LCD TV AND 22" monitor would be quite a bit more.

Overall Review: 1680x1050 brings Crysis to its knees! :) This is just a really good monitor, I bought it so I could downscale from my 27" HDTV because the video was blurry, text was near impossible to read and aliasing was terrible in games (because of the combo of size and low-resolution) This monitor solves all of my problems! I can play my Wii, watch TV and play PC games. I took a day or two to warm up to it, but now I couldn't go back. Considering I only watch the TV in picture-in-picture anyways, the quality isn't too bad, though I'd probably be upset if I watched it in fullscreen. I can't comment on the digital/HDTV aspects as my family does not subscribe to digital cable or HDTV, I should ask them since now I feel like I am missing out on a lot!

Pros: Great design (looks great next to a Playstation 3), Fits on most desks easily, Almost every A/V input, Not painfully bright like some other LCDs.

Cons: 1080p signals are cut off slightly when full screen. Analog TV looks horrible, but nobody would buy it for that anyway.

Overall Review: While it is still kind of expensive, this monitor does just about anything you want it to.

Pros: This is an update from my previous post, the tv side is awesome as well. It picks up local HD/Digital signals without any antenna attached to it.

Overall Review: Just a little hint for those who purchast this. Install the driver for the monitor, because without it the Picture In Picture (PIP) will not function correctly without it.

Pros: excelent screen. my second hybrid samsung tv tuner/monitor. this ones even better than the last. i use hdmi 1080p with PS3 and DVI to pc, d-sub vga to KVM. this monitor does it all!!

Pros: Picture quality and color rendition are superb. The brightness is pretty amazing - I am using a dual monitor setup with a Macbook Pro and the Samsung blows away the Macbook Pro's LCD by far when in Entertainment mode. In Text/Internet mode, it is about the same, but using the monitor in Entertainment mode for reading text is too bright for the eyes to give you an idea (brilliant for media though). The PIP modes are very useful - you can overlay any input source in any of the four corners, do split screen, etc. Best yet, you can set the PIP to be translucent so you can still see whatever you want behind it. It's nice to work and be able to watch a movie at the same time. The bezel and stand, despite the photos here, are a beautiful glossy black.

Cons: Quite a delay after hitting a channel until it actually changes. The touch buttons on the monitor are almost too sensitive - there's no way to clean it without unplugging it or else you will be toggling the buttons with the SLIGHTEST touch. Regular cable looks truly disgusting. I hardly watch TV, so I haven't upgraded to digital cable yet, so I can't say if that would look better or not. But what I do know is that cable looks better on my six-year-old tube.

Overall Review: I don't think the volume is as much of a problem as other people are saying. If you are using a 22" monitor for movies or TV in anything bigger than a bedroom or office, what's wrong with you? Besides, it has optical out - use your home theater, it's 2008, you know you have one.

Pros: Beautiful picture, built in HDTV tuner. Every input imaginable.

Cons: Stand does not rotate, no height adjustment.
