It should not be a problem, adaptors for micro sd cards are extremely basic and really just complete the pin gap between connection points, it should work for all micro sd cards

Will this work with a Highsense Chromebook?

As long as the chromebook has a sd card slot. Even then as long as it has a USB port you can buy a converter. But yes, as long as you can get the chomebook to pick it up, you should be able to store files on it.

More than likely yes. I had a note 3 which I used it in and now I am using an lg h3 and still works great with no data corruption.

Can you tell me what the difference is between the Micro SD and the micro SDX. Want to use it in a Garmin?

I can't address the difference between the two cards, but if you google it, I'm sure you'll find a simple explanation.  However, I'm a Garmin user and I have read quite a few opinions about using that large a card. Apparently the format changes over 32 gb and the Garmin unit may not recognize the comprossed format on the larger cards, I would do some reading or ask Garmin technical support.  I just use the 32gb on my Montana. I use the 64 in my GoPro. Hope this helps.
