Would this pm883 fit in and work in a ps4?

It has a standard SATA interface, its a standard 2.5" size. If your ps4 can handle the 8TB size, it should work. You may need to format it on a computer, I don't know anything about the ps4.

How much power does this SSD consume compared to a 4 TB SSD?

The PM series seems to have disappeared from the Samsung enterprise web site. There is now something called an 883 DCT which I suspect is the same but is 3.8TB max. The PM883 7.68TB shows as in stock at Newegg, but it has been in and out of stock. I have 5 of them running well and am concerned about their future. Samsung web site shows NO 7.68TB SSDs. This is more of a question than an answer. Must I go to Micron to expand?
