Does this include a SATA cable?

I don't have the packing anymore but i'm pretty sure it did include a SATA cable.  But this should be the least of your concerns as they only cost about $1 these days.  I love Samsung SSD's because they include Magician software which allows you to cache the SSD with 1gig of RAM.  SSD's are fast but RAM is much faster.  This RAPID feature is easily turned on or off as desired.

Question 2

I am buying this to replace my current hard drive in my MacBook Pro. Is this the right thing?

I used it it a PC that I built. I would check the Samsung website to verify that it's compatible with Mac. It's a great product to have. My new PC runs flawlessly and I'm actually gonna get another soon to restore and older PC

Will the cloning software work if the disks are in raid?

My experience with cloning software has been hit-or-miss.  I have cloned the boot drive of an Intel NUC Windows 10 system 3 times.  Once with Samsung's clone, once with EaseUS Disk Copy Home, and once with EaseUS ToDo Backup Home.  The EaseUS software is free.  Only the EaseUS ToDo clone was bootable.  Prior to this, I had success with boot drive clones of Linux, Windows 2008 R2, and ESXI boot drives with EaseUS Disk Copy.   You might want to try free cloning software like EaseUS.   Regarding the Samsung drive, I have a bunch of them and I'm happy with them.   I tried the Samsun cloning software only once, it failed, and I have no plans to try it again.
