Does this come with migration software?

Samsung has migration software on website free download. I used open sourced Clonezilla. Don’t forget if you are migrating from a hard drive to tune OS for SSD. Cache off and a few other settings. A web search will show step by step guides.

so, can this hold more storage than the 32gb storage the direkt-tek laptop comes with?

This item is a replacement Solid State Drive (SSD) for a computer which can accommodate the interface. Since the Vendor “Direkt-Tek doesn’t provide a service manual for their computer or a parts list, there isn’t a way to verify the current SSD in the computer. Their specifications list the 32GB as a ROM (Read Only Memory) device, which is incorrect. If you can disassemble the computer and install the Samsung Drive in your computer, it would provide 1TB of SSD. You will need to create a Recovery Media Kit resource to copy over the current Windows 10 O/S and related files to the new SSD. Please refer to the vendor for those instructions.

Will this work for Macbook Pro 15' 2015?

You will need an adapter to use any standard ssd with a Mac.  I suggest you use google to search this.  I put this ssd in my MacBook Pro retina 15 2912 and it worked perfectly (a cheap adapter).  The 2015 uses a different ssd slot.

Question 4

During extended writes how hot does this get?  What about with two in a single 2.5" enclosure in RAID-0?  In that scenario, does the SATA-III interface stay saturated during extended writes?

The heat from this technology even at 1TB is so much less than the pre-vertical-NAND drives that with any reasonable case design I think you would be ok. If this is an external enclosure, I can't imagine much of a problem - I was using it in an external 3.1 case that held two drives while copying another SSD and it barely got warm. Internal, well that's a system problem. Didn't measure any data rate while writing (which I had to do numerous times working around a shorted read location on the old drive that would kill the connected power supply, causing the USB interface to error out - yikes!), but on writes, I can't imagine that you could saturate the SATA-III long term (ignoring cache) since the long-term write rates on any SSD, even a pair in RAID0 are well below SATA-III's 300MByte/s capacity.
