Can I use this for the OS and games on the same drive or did I need a 2nd drive to store games on?

Yes you can use the same drive for the OS and the games. I did buy 2 of these, but I use the second drive for Data like pictures and videos. I love these drives, they are fast and reliable. Downloading games and updates for Windows 10 are a lot faster than when I was using a regular hard drive especially Windows updates and Norton updates.

There is no definitive answer to this question, as other factors such as processor type, memory, amount of software installed, BIOS startup routine, etc. can affect your boot timings, however with NVMe drives many people report boot times that fall within the measure of between 5 and 20 seconds.

I know it won't work in a 2013 MaBook Pro, I believe they use different memory.  To confirm, I would go to mac sales .com (all one word) and do a search on upgrades.  That will help you confirm.

I don't see why not. It should work in any machine with an M.2 NVMe PCIe slot. I don't think the 970 EVO is unusually thick, so it should fit in most laptops.

No, it's not designed to fit into a laptop. Laptops use SATA SSDs, not PCIE SSDs
