No it will not. This will only plug into an M.2 slot on your motherboard (M-key).

If you don't have an available M.2 slot, you can look at something like item N82E16815256024. This adapter will let you use this M.2 SSD via PCIE slot.

Question 2

I want to install this into the MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS motherboard. The motherboard includes an "M.2" heatsink plate. If I wanted to use the M.2 heatsink on that motherboard with this SSD, would I need to remove the sticker on the face of the SSD with the product name on it? If I attach the M.2 heatsink do I risk having the sticker on the face of the M.2 drive, like, melt due to heat or anything like that?

A heat-sink is useless unless it makes solid contact with the source of heat. I suggest both a cleaning and a SMALL amount of thermal paste (NOT adhesive)

As long as your motherboard's BIOS supports an NVMe drive, it shouldn't be a problem.

Is this compatible for use in a mid-2009 Macbook Pro?

No, The mid-2009 Macbook Pro doesn't have a M.2 slot on it. If you are wanting to upgrade to a SSD i'd recommend the Samsung 860 Evo. It will just replace the 2.5in HDD that your laptop currently has. You can then use Internet Recovery mode to reinstall the OS on your macbook. Thats what I did for my late 2011 Macbook Pro.

Will my legacy BIOS recognize this as a bootable drive? I am using an M.2 to PCIe x4 adapter. My Version of PCIe is 2.0. My system is a Dell XPS 435T/9000. Intel Xeon X5690, 48GB ECC RAM, 1.5TB HDD in RAID 0.

Looks like it will fit and is indeed compatible. The spec sheet for the MSI GL62 6QF shows the SSD as "1x M.2 SSD Combo (NVMe PCIe Gen3 / SATA )", which is what this drive is.

From what I've found the laptop will take it. Fairly simple installation, just have to take the back cover off and then install it like any other M.2. The laptop storage capacity is, Up to 512 GB PCIe SSD or
Up to 1 TB SATA HDD or Up to 512 GB PCIe SSD + 1 TB SATA HDD. Hope this helps!
