I'd like to use this monitor to replace my dual screens for work, where I mainly compare 2 files side-by-side. Will this monitor allow for the files to fill the entire screen side-by-side?

Samsung provides software called Easy Setting Box at displaysolutions dot Samsung dot com.   It's Windows compatible only, though.  For Mac you'll have to use the red/yellow/green jelly beans.  Catalina or higher, google Split View for Mac.

Does the game mode on the monitor reduce input lag or does it just change the color settings?

what is the lowest height to top of monitor on the stand?

If you lower the monitor all the way down, from the top of the monitor to the desk surface measures approximately 18.75". Extended as high as the monitor will go, it's 20.25" from the top of the monitor to the desk surface.

Fits no issue.  I use a Logitech C930e on this monitor.  No pressure or impact to display screen, just a perfect fit.  Good question given the pictures, but have no concern.
