It is "Plug & Play" with Windows 10. Your PC will recognize it and install any necessary drivers automatically as soon as you connect it and boot the computer. You may need an internet connection to obtain the correct driver, if required, but this will be automatically located and installed. Go for it.

Yes when I brought the writer I had windows 7 I later upgraded to windows 10. The writer works on both operating systems.

if it has standard drive slots then yes. desktop cases usually have both the small 3.5" (hard drive or small floppy drives) and the larger 5.25"(dvd, tape, etc) drive bays. if you have the bays then any standard drive will fit it. these have been standardized since the original ibm pcs so pretty well established. there are very few cases that do not have standard drive bays and they are specialized cases.

All internal dvd-roms/cd-roms/blueray-roms are standard size and fit in the 5.25 bays. Your desktop has only 1 5.25 bay, so if you want ro replace your dvd-rom, yes it will work.
