It doesn't have a reflective screen, but you can use setting to lower the light.

Yes, but...   This monitor does not have a TV tuner or HDMI input.   You would be able to stream video from Netflix, Hulu, etc.  For OTA TV, you would need a tuner card for your PC.  The monitor is certainly capable of displaying TV & movies.

Can you mount this on a wall mount?

The mounting holes are there but it is really not ideal... There are only two holes and they are surface mounted, meaning, they are not tapped into the frame of the display, only the outer plastic case. I have my monitor currently mounted on a desk arm but I have to be careful adjusting the pitch angle because it lacks the lower two mounting holes and I don't want to snap the plastic. Good luck.

what is the difference between this monitor and the SAMSUNG S27C500H Glossy Black 27" 5ms (GTG)?

I was wrong on the last answer given, my bad. It seems that the 500H is just a newer model and also has an HDMI port in the back rather than just the DVI and VGA. There are also a couple more controls on the front. The 500H also has a sleeker transparent stand.
