Do I need a display cable to run the 2k resolution or can I just use the included HDMI cable?

The supplied HDMI cable worked at the full 2560x1080 resolution for me.  There was no DVI to HDMI adaptor included, so depending on your graphica card you may need to get one.

Do you know what the refresh rate is?

I only have options of 59hz and 60hz in Windows 10 with a GeForce GTX 260.

But I can tell you that I've gone through a lot of monitors at work, and this is the first one in years that doesn't give me eye strain.

I tried using this monitor for my PS3 and the sound is super loud static. PS3 works on other monitors just fine and this monitor works just fine with my computer. Is this monitor just not compatible with PS3 audio connected via HDMI?

You may have to change the type of audio the ps3 sends to the monitor.

Is this monitor 4K what is the resolution?

No its 2560 by 1080. The 34 inch model is 3440 by 1440. They don't offer a 4k version yet.

YES, the only monitors that are not HDCP compliant are well over 5 years by now.

I currently have a 24in Samsung LED monitor wall mounted.  Can this be wall mounted on the same mount?

According to Samsung's page, the VESA mount is 100mm by 100mm. Check your wall mount's documentation and make sure it supports those dimensions as well as the weight of this monitor.
