Pros: -Amazing Picture Quality
-0 Ghosting during fast sequences
-1ms input delay WITHOUT the FreeSync
-4k @ 60hz on top of the 1ms?! JUST GET AT LEAST 1 OF THESE ALREADY!
Cons: -No Speakers, but for the quality of the monitor, is worth it. Use an external audio source for sound. This is a gaming monitor.
-I cant fit 2 on my desk, but, that's a personal problem ;)
-Wish I could afford to buy a 3rd one.
Overall Review: Highly recommend this if you're a gamer looking to jump into the 4k quality without losing on your input delay. Perfect!
-Large monitor size
Cons: -Price is a premium for the product (but it's a Samsung, so I expect there to be, and I also expect the product to last!)
-Bought 2 of these, one of them had a dead pixel after only 13 months!
Overall Review: I was able to get Samsung to repair the screen under warranty, but was slightly disappointed with the condition of the front of my display when I got it back, as the piano black finish was now scratched in several places... While i have no doubt this was not intentional, I would assume Samsung techs would have taken better care of such an expensive display.
Pros: Very easy to set up, crisp, clear, and bright (!) display, makes 1080 look foggy by comparison. Thin, relatively light, and easy to set up. Big. Very big.
Cons: Not many, and covered in the other reviews. The stand is very basic, as in tilt. That's it. Also, the VESA mounts are awkward as they are at the very top of the monitor. That shouldn't pose a problem normally, but with this large a monitor, putting the mounts at the top means you need a very long stand arm to get the bottom of the monitor off your desk. My after market stand wasn't tall enough to accomplish that. So, if you don't like the stand that comes with the monitor, be very cautious in buying another VESA mount monitor stand or arm as it has to be TALL!
Overall Review: I love this monitor so much that I bought another. I have not experienced a couple of things mentioned in other reviews. Both monitors are working well without fault. The screens are not any more fragile than any others I've had, so not sure about the easily scratched comment. The stand is functional, but if you like more adjustments go with an arm or aftermarket stand. It does require some decent video processing power, but anyone looking at buying a 4K monitor knows that. Running crossfire 290X's and it seems to work well enough. The sale price was amazing.
Pros: Bright vibrant color, consistent across the screen. Black is black
Overall Review: Wish it was slightly bigger
Pros: Had this for about 20 months, still love it.
Cons: Looking at other monitors, that are not 4K, sears my eyes.
I had some trouble with the stand. The screws didn't want to engage fully on the bottom piece.
Overall Review: Still not as much gaming support for 4K as I would like.
For example, on the game I play the most, the mouse cursor is very, very small and hard to see.
Pros: Bright, no need to adjust, works great. Have Neon Linux running on it, and it looks fantastic. Will try FlightGear later, but for now, it works like a champ.
Cons: VESA mount is at the top of the unit, so if you have a VESA mount plate that is larger, you will see it poking it's head above the unit. I think they could have done better on that. Also, the cable placement clearly ignores that you might VESA mount this, as any cable you plug in will extend into the wall, pushing the lower half out. The fix for me was to put a 1/2" plywood square behind the mount plate so it would all work. It's annoying.
Overall Review: Very light, very bright.
Pros: True 4K, not a single dead pixel.
Overall Review: I am a gamer and 3 of these make for an awesome experience. You will need a very powerful graphic card to run them.
Pros: Amazing quality and great refresh rate.
Cons: Dead Pixel on the screen very soon after getting it.
Overall Review: Very disappointed in the dead pixel.
