Will this memory card work with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT?  It is square in shape and alot of these look more rectangular?

To the best of my knowledge all Canon digital rebels use a compact flash card like this. I use this card in a Canon 40d. If you camera uses a compact flash then this will work. The other popular media is a SD card that is a little smaller than a postage stamp. I don't have your camera but am almost positive you require a CF memory card. I hope this helps.
