I have a Samsung Note-II. How do I know if I can use a microSD card or a MicroSDHC card?

I have a Galaxy S4(VZW) and I am 99.8% positive all Samsung smartphones take microSD expandable cards. I bought this exact card for my S4. If you are not 100% sure, always check the product specs on either Samsung's product site. This is from the  Note 2 spec sheet...

I use it in a Nook HD 10 inch and is fits fine.  A micro sd is a micro sd
