i used this in my sandisk, mp3 player, and in my Nokia win 8 phone, and it worked fine in both. i guess that doesn't really answer your question.

Are these tested genuine 32gb cards and not counterfeit 2-8gb cards reprogrammed to look like a 32gb card? I have been burned in the past with Chinese fake SD cards and I don't want to get burned again.

This is an actual 32GB card.  I bought this particular one for my brother to use in his phone.  It was slightly less than 32GB formatted (Something like 30.3GB) but that's typical in any hard drive, SD card, usb drive, etc.

Yes - the Trek View camera will accept up to a 32GB SD card.  The micro SD card you are inquiring about should work very well for you.
